IT Service Provider - Evaluation & Migration Service

We have the following broad offerings under our service provider evaluation and migration service. These are:

  • Evaluation: we assess the performance of incumbent Service Providers and identify compliance vs. non-compliance, service improvement plans and improved commercial terms

  • Market Testing: we manage the request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes to obtain the best possible match to our client needs and wants. This includes a full-scope evaluation of the service catalog, service consumption metrics and costs by category

  • Negotitation: should it be necessary to move from an incumbent service provider to an alternative one, we manage the whole process and produce a business case for change for Board evaluation. This also includes negotiating exit costs, creating the new service schedules and the contract, and establishing the new cost baseline

  • Migration: we provide oversight of the transition and transformation plans ensuring that they are practical, risk aware and can be delivered in a timely fashion to support the business case.

RETAINED ORGANISATION AND SKILLS EVALUATION

We evaluate the internal IT team capabilities and advise on the roles and skills required to manage an effective Service Provider relationship.

Interim MANAGEMENT ROLES

If necessary we can provide interim roles while the organisation settles in with the new provider. Within our network we have seasoned IT professionals, and former CIOs, who are able to take on the role for a temporary period while a permanent post is vacant or while the full-time team adjust their roles. We are also able to offer this in the form of a 'virtual CIO', for example where a CIO-level task is required or where a CIO skill-set is needed within the senior team. We also assist in the selection process of permanent retained IT candidates.
